Arigatou gozaimasu: Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is the most famous, popular tourist spot and a striking historical landmark in the middle of a modern urban cityscape of high-rise concrete blocks in Osaka. The castle stands in an expansive lawn covered park and consists of huge walls surrounding a massive central tower. It is an important Cultural Assets by the national government. The main central tower is 55 meters high and houses a museum and a best viewing platform from which visitors can enjoy the panoramic views of Osaka city.
